What are we seeking in our Customer Service Representative?

Russell Tobin & Associates is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Employment Type: Contract/Onsite

Location: Not specified

Compensation: $18 - $20/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address, investigate, and resolve escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to billing, collections, and various customer service functions.
  • Manage customer billing processes, including adjustments and payments using the designated billing software.
  • Handle general phone inquiries, transferring calls, responding to questions, filing, and data entry.
  • Coordinate instructions for field technicians and arrange necessary service calls.
  • Organize schedules for meter changes and manage work calendars for service personnel, including timekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service office environment.
  • Strong telephone communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Capable of working under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Being bilingual is a significant advantage.
