Pediatric Therapy Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Youthful Horizons Physical Therapy, P.S. This full-time role involves working in an outpatient clinic environment, focusing on the therapeutic needs of infants and children up to nine years of age.
Work Schedule:
This position offers a 40-hour work week with flexible scheduling options to accommodate work-life balance.
Collaboration:
Our therapists engage closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, family resource coordinators, and other specialists such as registered dieticians and vision and hearing experts.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience in treating the birth to three age group. However, we are also open to new graduates who are eager to learn and grow under the guidance of our experienced team.
Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement occupational therapy programs grounded in evidence-based practices.
2. Work directly with patients and their families to enhance functional outcomes.
3. Assess the effectiveness of therapy interventions and communicate progress to families and caregivers.
4. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care services.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- A Master's degree or higher for Occupational Therapists, or an Associate's degree for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants from an accredited institution.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State.
- Capability to manage a physical workload.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
