A background in pediatric care, early childhood education, behavioral therapy, or developmental psychology is advantageous. Your role will involve direct interaction with young patients, necessitating accurate documentation of their progress and current status. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Pediatric Speech Therapy Assistant:
- Perform initial screenings to detect speech and language disorders.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions under the supervision of the licensed pathologist.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously.
- Maintain comprehensive records of patient information.
- Assist the pathologist with various administrative tasks within the practice.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Completion of an Associate degree from an accredited SLPA program or a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with office software applications.
