Pediatric Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a full-time role in a pediatric-focused outpatient practice, specializing in the treatment of infants and children up to nine years of age.
This position entails a commitment of 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate both the therapist and the families we serve.
Our team of therapists collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary group, including speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, family resource coordinators, and other specialists such as registered dieticians and vision and hearing experts.
We welcome applicants with experience in treating the birth to three age group, but we are also open to new graduates who are eager for mentorship and professional growth.
Our experienced team of Occupational Therapists is ready to provide guidance and support as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary based on experience, alongside profit-sharing opportunities, vacation and sick leave, coverage for licensing and AOTA dues, a generous continuing education budget, medical and dental insurance, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan with substantial employer contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs grounded in evidence-based practices.
- Engage directly with patients and their families to enhance functional outcomes.
- Assess the impact of therapy interventions and relay progress to families and caregivers.
- Document and maintain accurate records of patient care services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- A Master's degree or higher for Occupational Therapists, or an Associate's degree for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants from an accredited institution.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Washington state.
- Capability to manage a physically demanding workload.
- Ability to establish rapport with patients and families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
