Pediatric Speech Therapy Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech Therapist to become a vital part of our team at Solomon Speech Therapy. In this position, you will utilize your expertise as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) to assist children facing challenges such as stuttering, hearing loss, autism spectrum disorders, and other communication-related issues. Experience with young patients, particularly in early childhood intervention or behavioral analysis, is advantageous but not essential. Your role will involve direct interaction with patients, requiring accurate documentation of their conditions and progress. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Pediatric Speech Therapy Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the work of Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants within our organization.
  • Perform screenings to detect speech and language difficulties.
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Participate in meetings regarding evaluations and IEPs for your assigned patients.
  • Deliver therapeutic services to students in various educational settings.
  • Monitor and document the progress of your patients.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of patient information.
  • Execute various administrative tasks as needed.

Pediatric Speech Therapist Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Preferred experience working with children in a therapeutic environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with office software applications.
