Spokane, Washington, United States Provider Solutions & Development Full time

Position Overview

Join a prestigious private practice affiliated with a leading medical group that boasts over a century of service. We are in search of a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist to enhance our comprehensive service offerings. The role of complex pediatric otolaryngology is vital in the delivery of patient care at our renowned children's hospital, which features 160 beds and full NICU and PICU capabilities.

Clinical Responsibilities

Our patients present a wide array of conditions, and you will be part of an aerodigestive team that includes specialists in gastroenterology, pulmonology, genetics, and speech-language pathology. This collaborative approach ensures coordinated care for the most intricate cases. While the primary focus is on complex pediatric otolaryngology, you will also engage in general outpatient pediatric ENT services at our Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Team Structure

The ENT department comprises approximately 10 otolaryngologists, including subspecialists in head and neck/microvascular surgery, rhinology/anterior skull base, and pediatrics, supported by 3 midlevel providers and 7 audiologists. The call schedule is approximately 1 in 10, without facial trauma obligations.

Academic Affiliations

Many of our physicians hold academic roles with prominent universities, enriching the educational experience for medical students who complete their training in our area.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary is competitive, ranging from $391,587 to $568,590 annually, with additional incentives based on productivity and quality. Comprehensive benefits are included, and there is potential for partnership after one year of employment.

Living in the Area

Located in a vibrant region, the metro area offers a population of 600,000 and serves as a medical hub for a catchment area of approximately 2 million. The cost of living is reasonable compared to larger metropolitan areas, and many physicians enjoy recreational properties nearby, taking advantage of outdoor activities such as skiing, fishing, and hiking.

Application Process

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their curriculum vitae for consideration. We welcome applications from both recent fellowship graduates and experienced pediatric otolaryngologists.

Equal Opportunity Employment

We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
