Position Overview

Leasing Specialist - Urban Development Partners

As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a vital role in our property management team, ensuring the success of our multi-site portfolio. We offer a range of benefits to support your well-being and professional growth:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Regular weekend availability is essential
  • Reliable transportation for daily site visits is required
  • Familiarity with social media and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in property management
  • Strong sales background with a history of achieving targets
  • Ability to handle paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Common sense approach to following instructions
  • Capable of presenting information clearly to both management and residents
  • Basic math skills for everyday calculations
  • Experience with file audits and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Positive attitude and adaptability in fast-paced situations
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations and local property management laws
  • Familiarity with property management software, such as Yardi, is a plus
  • Experience with new development or lease-up properties is advantageous

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing
  • Engagement in repetitive motions and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment
