We are collaborating with a prominent property management firm seeking a Real Estate Financial Analyst to enhance their finance team. In this foundational position, you will play a vital role in upholding financial documentation and generating reports for the organization’s commercial property assets.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline - Mandatory.
  • Preferred experience of 2 years in accounting (experience in property accounting is advantageous).
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Able to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
  • Experience with month-end closing processes is essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support month-end closing activities and prepare journal entries.
  • Examine general ledgers and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Evaluate income and expenditures, providing explanations for variances.
  • Assist in reconciling bank accounts and managing mortgage processes.
  • Oversee tenant leases and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, facilitate check runs, and document operational procedures.
  • Participate in special projects while adhering to regulatory standards.
