Job Summary

The Clinical Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the infusion centers in South Portland, Scarborough, and Sanford, ME. This role will involve approximately 70% administration/supervisory and 30% clinical/direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience administering and managing the care of patients receiving oncology and non-oncology infusion treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee all operational aspects of the clinical department, including clinical services and staffing needs.
  • Coordinate the clinical workflow to provide efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care.
  • Work with physicians, midlevel providers, and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize productivity.

Requirements

  • Education: BSN required.
  • License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in the nursing field. Supervisory/managerial experience preferred. Experience working with computers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and standards, medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist physicians.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Analytical ability sufficient to identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
