Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director of Operations to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistency of clinical care delivery and market staffing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume the role and responsibilities of the Clinical Medical Director (CMD) within our centers, while acting in the capacity of the Market Float position.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve clinical quality, workflows, and safety at the center and market levels.
  • Drive patient and client experience and satisfaction metrics.
  • Practice excellent service delivery and lead by example.
  • Work collaboratively with operations to ensure appropriate support and workflows that foster a caring environment for treatment.
  • Maintain and leverage relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, and local communities to drive market growth.
  • Mentor and train future clinical leaders while treating.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition.
Requirements
  • Board Certified in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty.
  • Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
  • Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years directly applicable experience, including relevant clinical and supervisory experience.
  • Preferred 3 years experience in managed care and physician management.
