Traffic Control Specialist

At RoadSafe Traffic, we are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic through work zones.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Motorists: Work with the Traffic Control Department to direct motorists away from worker activities, moving equipment, and oncoming traffic.
- Set-up Traffic Control Devices: Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Follow all safety rules and regulations, and wear proper safety equipment, including work boots, hard hat, and safety vest.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Work Independently: Work under the supervision of a Project Manager, TCT, TCS, or Flagger II, or work independently as assigned.
- Complete Daily Paperwork: Complete daily paperwork accurately and timely.
- Operate 2-Way Radio: Operate a 2-way radio to communicate with team members and management.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
- Regular Exposure to Weather Conditions: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles.
- Noise Level: Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
- Pass a Drug Test: Pass a drug test.
- Company Sponsored Certification: Ability to participate and pass Company Sponsored Flagger certification.
