  • Inventory Level Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Sourcing: Search for and evaluate alternative suppliers to find better pricing for parts and materials, ensuring that the company gets the best value for its money.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to optimize inventory control and reduce costs, ensuring that the company's operations are efficient and effective.
  • Inventory Forecasting and Reordering: Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and generate reorder requests, ensuring that the company has the necessary stock to meet customer demands.
  • Order Preparation and Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation, and coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Address and resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays or damages, and provide support to various departments as needed, including data entry, report generation, and administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or related roles.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite, excellent organizational and time management skills, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, effective written and verbal communication abilities, ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and familiarity with warehousing operations, purchase orders, and inventory control processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce, knowledge of shipping and logistics processes, familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
