Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Natural Resources Management Specialist to join our team at the U.S. Department of the Interior. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of professionals, setting clear goals, and monitoring project progress.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement sound land use plans, monitoring plans, and other resource activity plans.
  • Provide strong input on multiple use objectives and lead an interdisciplinary team in developing long-term objectives.
  • Formulate alternative management strategies, evaluate impacts, and recommend actions to further the long-term productivity of natural resources.
  • Develop plans and work schedules by setting priorities and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Devises and maintains record keeping systems to provide required information for production, reporting, and evaluation of organizational goals.
  • Promote collaboration amongst professionals by facilitating teamwork, sharing knowledge, and promoting the exchange of ideas.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must have a strong understanding of natural resources management principles and practices.
