Job Title: HR Operations and Compliance Specialist

MP Materials Corp. is seeking a highly skilled HR Operations and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources Department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and audit HR policies, practices, and records to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of compliance practices across the organization.
  • Assist in developing standardization related to reporting and analytics to enhance HR processes and programs.
  • Support knowledge management strategy by developing processes, templates, and guidelines to ensure effective development and maintenance of HR content.
  • Optimize HR workflows and systems by identifying and implementing improvements to enhance HR processes and programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a relevant field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state labor laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting complex regulations and identifying potential compliance risks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all compliance-related documentation and processes.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a focus on labor law compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • HR certification.
  • Demonstrated progression and experience in HR concentrations.
  • Working knowledge of ADP.
