Senior Manager, IBD Sales and Account Insights

About the Role: In this pivotal role at Takeda, you will be responsible for leading the analytical efforts for a designated portfolio of products associated with a specific disease area.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales and account management teams to tackle business inquiries and generate comprehensive reports on healthcare professionals, accounts, and patient-level analytics.

Leveraging your proficiency in data analysis and narrative development, you will transform insights into clear, innovative, and actionable reports that empower the Sales and Marketing teams, along with other essential stakeholders within the IBD sector.


How You Will Contribute:

- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish and maintain account hierarchies linking healthcare professionals to accounts and parent accounts.

- Integrate your insights with group perspectives to create actionable reports that emphasize the rationale and actionable aspects of the data.

- Lead initiatives that provide insights into industry-specific classes of trade, including Alternative Sites of Care (ASOCs), Physician Group Practices (PGPs), Hospitals, and Public Health Service (PHS) entities.

- Identify and actively pursue opportunities to automate processes, minimizing errors and allowing more time for creative work on existing deliverables.

- Evaluate, recommend, and communicate suitable models and techniques along with industry knowledge to team members.

- Oversee consultants and vendors, including onboarding, guidance, and budget management.

- Foster a learning and continuous development environment to ensure employee engagement and growth.

- Manage projects from initiation to execution, including tracking timelines and due dates for key deliverables.

- Align quarterly customer target lists with brand strategy to ensure all promotional aspects of the business are synchronized.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA or BS in a relevant analytical field such as statistics, informatics, or analytics.
- 6+ years of quantitative analytical experience.
- Experience in the Autoimmune/IBD domain preferred; experience in the pharmaceutical sector required.
- Experience in field-based analytics (sales and/or account) and Master Data Management (MDM) required.
- Advanced knowledge of coding techniques in SAS and SQL (or Python, R, VBA, or similar languages) required.

- Experience with Third Party Industry Commercial data sets required, e.g., Komodo, IQVIA/IMS, SHA/Symphony Health, Patient Services, and Specialty Pharmacy data.


Preferred:
- MBA with a focus on healthcare or a Master's in data analytics/informatics preferred.
- Knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, and customer care) preferred.
- Experience with Order Management (ERP) and Contract Management Account data-related analytics preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or similar platforms preferred.
