ROLE OVERVIEW //

The Area Team Leader (ATL) will report directly to the Director of Restaurant Operations (DRO) and is expected to embody and inspire the culture, mission, and core values of MyHomeState. The ATL will mentor and develop store-level managers to achieve success in various areas, including operational excellence, guest service, financial management, recruitment, training, scheduling, and compliance with standard operating procedures.

The ATL is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned restaurants, focusing on manager development, succession planning, and ensuring all team members receive the necessary support. The ATL is expected to maintain a visible presence in each restaurant and serve as a resource for general managers and team members. (Salary ranges from $90,000 - $100,000)

* Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (6 or more hours per shift, excluding breaks).
* Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds (kitchen equipment, food storage containers, etc.).
* Ability to frequently bend and reach overhead.
* Ability to utilize utensils (including chopping) and grip equipment such as beverage urns or other kitchen tools.
* Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot (high radiant heat areas, ~ 82°) to cold (food storage areas, ~ 37 °).
* Ability to work near open flames, hot cooking equipment, and steam.
* Ability to navigate tight spaces.
* Ability to recognize and comprehend directions and spatial cues (e.g., "hot," "behind," "corner," etc.) and communicate as needed.
* Ability to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally.
* Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
* Ability to move around the restaurant with full mobility.
