Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of multifamily properties, ensuring compliance with management policies and lease agreements.
  • Achieve established property goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Report any safety or health hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Operate within budgetary constraints while ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Approve and submit invoices in accordance with property management standards.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and foster positive relationships with residents and staff.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and implement retention strategies.
  • Verify applicant qualifications and maintain accurate resident records.
  • Conduct property inspections and oversee move-in processes.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators to ensure effective resident support.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and manage tenant communications.
  • Facilitate resolutions for tenant issues while adhering to Fair Housing Laws.
  • Solicit competitive bids for necessary services and oversee operational tasks as directed.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting, which are necessary for up to 90% of the workday.

Non-Physical Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in property management is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and property management software.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Licensure:

  • Valid driver's license and required insurance.
  • Must pass a criminal background check as required.
