BC forward is actively looking for a dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team.

Position Title: Human Resources Representative

Location: Not specified

Expected Duration: Temporary position with potential for permanent placement

Shift: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to accommodate operational needs.

Job Type: Contract position (40 hours per week) [Onsite]

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

Experience in Human Resources
Familiarity with HR processes
Strong employee relations skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to assess staffing requirements and execute recruitment strategies.

• Ensure a seamless candidate experience in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.

• Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere and enhance employee engagement initiatives.

• Address employee inquiries and conduct necessary investigations.

• Oversee local HR functions and maintain precise employee documentation.

• Facilitate onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.

• Work closely with leadership and HR to ensure adherence to labor agreements.
Experience and Education:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of experience in an HR generalist role. Candidates with an Associate's degree and three years of relevant experience may also be considered.

• Experience in a unionized environment is advantageous.
