About the Position:

Role:
HR Assistant - Administrative Support

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (this position supports a three-shift manufacturing facility).

The HR Specialist must exhibit flexibility to accommodate varying hours as required by operational needs.


This is an on-site opportunity with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate, depending on business requirements.

Qualifications:
An Associate's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

We seek a meticulous and people-oriented HR professional who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The HR Specialist is vital in supporting our workforce in Spencer, Wisconsin.
In this capacity, you will concentrate on recruitment, fostering positive employee relations, and managing local HR processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ascertain staffing requirements and execute the recruiting strategy.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience in collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team.
  • Cultivate a supportive work atmosphere and enhance employee engagement.
  • Address employee inquiries and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Oversee and manage local HR functions while maintaining precise employee records.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Partner with leadership, HR, and Labor to ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements.

Experience and Education:

  • Candidates with an Associate's degree are preferred.
High School diploma with several years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
