BC forward is currently looking for a dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team.

Position Title: Human Resources Representative

Location: Not specified

Expected Duration: 3 months with potential for permanent placement

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Flexibility required to accommodate operational needs.)

Job Type: CONTRACT (>=40 HOURS WEEKLY) [ONSITE]

Pay Range: [$29- $30/hr]
Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience and responsibilities.

Requirements:

Experience in Human Resources
Knowledge of HR processes
Employee Relations expertise

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing requirements and execute recruitment strategies.

• Ensure a seamless candidate experience in collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team.

• Cultivate a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.

• Address employee inquiries and conduct necessary investigations.

• Manage local HR functions and maintain precise employee documentation.

• Oversee onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.

• Work alongside leadership, HR, and Labor to ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements.
Experience and Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience in an HR generalist role is preferred. Candidates with an Associate’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience may also be considered.

• Experience in a unionized environment is advantageous.
