Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and people-focused HR Specialist who excels in a vibrant and fast-paced setting. This role is essential in supporting our HR team. As an HR Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include recruitment, fostering positive employee relations, and overseeing local HR processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to assess staffing requirements and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience in collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team.
  • Encourage a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Address employee inquiries and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Manage local HR operations and maintain precise employee documentation.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new team members.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR to ensure adherence to labor agreements.

Qualifications and Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, with a preference for candidates having at least one year of HR generalist experience. Candidates with an Associate's degree and three years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
