Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant, Mechanical Engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will lead teams managing LEED / green building projects, working closely with internal colleagues in a fast-paced, specialized, and focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams managing LEED / green building projects
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to develop and implement sustainable solutions
  • Provide technical consulting and auditing services for LEED / green building design, construction, operations, and maintenance projects
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives on sustainable design and operations
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored sustainable solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, or related field
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing LEED / green building projects
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of commercial green building principles and practices
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to achieve LEED Green Associate credential within 6 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with green building standards such as ENERGY STAR, Guiding Principles for High Performance Sustainable Buildings, Fitwel, Green Communities Criteria, Green Globes, International Green Construction Code, LEED Zero, Living Building Challenge, Net Zero Energy Buildings, Parksmart Certification, SITES, and the WELL Building Standard
  • Experience with ESG reporting, program development, or financial incentive management
  • Strong presentation and training delivery skills
