Position Summary

The Senior Business Process Consultant at CapTech will partner closely with key business and technical stakeholders to spearhead and oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing business processes.

Our consultants are adept at functioning as both Process Engineers and Business Systems Analysts, engaging with client stakeholders to gather solution requirements, guide the design process, and ensure that the final deliverables align with business objectives.

In this role, you will participate in a variety of projects that involve analyzing and refining processes and essential technologies across multiple domains, including critical business applications, mobile solutions, content management systems, and extensive integration and modernization efforts.

As a bridge between business and technology, you will ensure that the solutions provided deliver the necessary value while being scalable and maintainable to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with client challenges and technologies to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor.
  • Lead and drive initiatives focused on process improvement, including enhancements to both processes and the tools that support them.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to address current challenges.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the system delivery lifecycle as a key team member.
  • Assist technical teams in solution design, including data modeling, interface design, and defining state transitions.
  • Analyze data structures and quality to understand their impact on client business objectives.
  • Facilitate connections between technical and business perspectives to ensure high-quality, impactful solutions.
  • Evaluate the current state of organizations and collaborate with clients to define desired future states.
  • Perform gap analyses to identify capability deficiencies and propose alternative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to comprehend high-level business needs and elicit detailed requirements through various methods.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Senior Business Process Consultant position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Six Sigma certification, with a preference for Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT-related projects, demonstrating growth as a Process Engineer.
  • Familiarity with multi-system integration and common challenges associated with enterprise technology integration.
  • Experience in creating visual representations such as sequence, data flow, and process flow diagrams.
  • An understanding of object-oriented development practices and the ability to define organizational objects and processes.
  • Knowledge of modern IT architecture solutions, including Cloud and APIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with senior business leadership and technical teams.
  • Basic SQL query writing skills.
  • Preferred experience in software development or related educational background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Prior consulting experience is advantageous.
