Job Summary

Marion County is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Division, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention services to individuals and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address complex mental health needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including brief therapy and community outreach, to individuals and families in crisis.
  • Collaborate with community partners, including Salem Hospital and the Marion County Jail, to address urgent and crisis situations.
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with diverse needs and diagnoses, including those with limited financial resources.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans, including community stabilization and crisis prevention strategies.
  • Participate in diversion program meetings and provide case reviews of BRES clients.
  • Provide weekly mental health groups to participants of Lotus House.
  • Attend monthly PCC team meetings and perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
  • Salem Hospital Credentialing: Must possess, or obtain within 6 months of hire, Salem Hospital Privileges.
  • Must possess, or obtain within 6 months of hire, State of Oregon Civil Commitment Coordination and Investigation Certification.
