Crisis Services Clinician Job Description

Job Summary:

Crisis Connections is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Services Clinician to join our team. As a Crisis Services Clinician, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and professional support to individuals in crisis, while also working collaboratively with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in crisis, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, including crisis intervention, hospital diversion, and community consultation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including law enforcement, hospitals, and other mental health organizations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of supervised experience working with individuals afflicted by severe and persistent mental illnesses.
  • Proven track record of cultivating and sustaining productive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in clinical practice, showcasing sound clinical judgment and expertise.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity, exhibiting effective leadership skills.
