Crisis Support Specialist

Join our team at Crisis Connections, a leading provider of telephone-based support services in King County and WA State. As a Crisis Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in responding to fluctuations in the Regional Crisis Line phone room, ensuring that our community receives accessible and compassionate support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer calls on the Regional Crisis Line, following guidance from Crisis Services Clinicians and adhering to phone room protocols.
- Monitor call queues and respond promptly to meet service and contractual metrics.
- Provide direct crisis services to callers, utilizing comprehensive understanding of Mental Health Systems and resources.
- Support phone worker volunteers, offering guidance and practical suggestions on resources and electronic health record software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of public mental health systems, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
