Role Summary

The AAM Program Coordinator will oversee the management of activities, timelines, stakeholders, and financial aspects necessary for the establishment and maintenance of an advanced air mobility (AAM) initiative. This role also encompasses the marketing, outreach, and communication strategies essential for driving engagement in the program.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and executing project plans to implement an AAM initiative with testing events that align with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather input and monitor progress on planned activities.
  • Identifying, tracking, and managing potential project risks and challenges.
  • Preparing and delivering reports, status updates, and schedules to stakeholders across various levels.
  • Engaging in relevant industry events focused on AAM.
  • Formulating and refining a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy to attract participants and investors from both public and private sectors.
  • Leading communications with industry experts, manufacturers, facility owners, associations, investors, and regulatory bodies to foster participation in the AAM initiative.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of outreach activities for ongoing enhancement.
  • Acting as the spokesperson for the AAM initiative in relation to press inquiries and public engagements.
  • Ensuring all work aligns with industry standards, customer expectations, and company policies.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience managing complex projects valued at $5 million or more, involving multiple stakeholders, including government entities.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Five years of experience in producing outreach materials across various platforms, including digital and print media.
  • Five years of experience in transportation-related initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:

  • Experience with advanced air mobility initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Economic Development Agencies.
