Role Overview: Product Marketing Specialist – Data & Analytics

DEPARTMENT

The SAP Data & Analytics Product Marketing division is tasked with crafting engaging product narratives, executing marketing initiatives that generate visibility and demand, and providing market intelligence regarding customer requirements and competitive dynamics.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports directly to the VP of Data & Analytics Product Marketing.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role in product marketing is dedicated to equipping clients with customized analytics solutions at an expedited pace for their critical operations. Covering areas from Total Spend to Workforce Planning, this position will collaborate with various business units within SAP and will be accountable for shaping messaging, online strategies, marketing initiatives, product rollouts, event content, and customer narratives. You will partner with the VP of Product Marketing to formulate and implement the marketing strategy that will enhance awareness and utilization of SAP's leading analytics tailored for specific business applications.

This role will engage closely with product management, global communications, sales, field marketing, and partner marketing. If you are enthusiastic about analytics and seek a position that will cultivate your development into a product marketing leader, this opportunity is designed for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across Integrated Marketing and Product Management to design a customer journey that fosters awareness, thought leadership, and the adoption of analytics for essential business use cases.
  • Content Development: Generate persuasive product messaging and materials for online strategies and customer-facing resources such as presentations, whitepapers, and eBooks.
  • Product Launch Management: Oversee the organization of feature launches, including drafting blogs, social media content, infographics, and customer presentations.
  • Project Coordination: Act as the central point of contact that unites various stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, and Communications to ensure timely completion of key deliverables with input from primary subject matter experts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, technology, or business
  • Basic understanding of data and analytics
  • Familiarity with analytics/dashboard tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Foundational knowledge of product marketing
  • Experience with dashboard tools for reporting is a plus

Compensation Transparency: SAP believes in the importance of pay transparency as a step towards fostering an honest and supportive culture, reflecting our commitment to pay equity. We provide the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the applicable career level. The targeted combined range for this position is 101,100 USD. The actual amount offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on various factors including education, skills, experience, and role scope during the selection process.
