The Team


Dedicated to creating solutions for a diverse clientele, the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC) team manages the profitability of outcome-driven index solutions, including iBoxx bond and leveraged loan indices worldwide (including Sustainable Fixed Income indices), CDS indices, commodities, and alternatives.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to become part of a product team in a dynamic growth phase.

Key Responsibilities

The team is looking for a Senior Manager to champion and advance our Private Markets product initiatives on a global scale.

The Senior Manager will be pivotal in assisting the team to define and implement the private markets strategy, which includes establishing new partnerships, launching innovative index families with significant market influence, and maintaining existing products while developing new offerings through analytical work across teams related to the Private Market product families.


The Senior Manager, in collaboration with commercial teams, will play a crucial role in developing and executing essential team processes that support the realization of the Private Markets business strategy.

This role demands a high level of technical expertise, along with strong collaboration skills and a commercially driven mindset to fulfill the team's strategic objectives.

In addition to being an active Product Manager, the Senior Manager will be a vital team member, working across adjacent teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in private markets, index vendors, or related sectors.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mathematics, finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation.
- Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a readiness to engage and execute.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Programming skills (Python, R, Matlab) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with analytical platforms such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, MSCI / Barra, or Axioma is a plus.
- CFA or progress towards CFA is desirable.
- CAIA or progress towards CAIA is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for further compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
