As we broaden our reach into new body care segments, we have successfully launched several products that have quickly gained popularity and consumer loyalty, such as our best-selling Vanilla Cashmere body lotion and trending shave cream. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative brand that is experiencing rapid growth and has a dedicated consumer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning for Innovation:
- Collaborate to develop a comprehensive three-year innovation strategy.
- Evolve brand vision, positioning, and portfolio strategy.
- Analyze competitive landscape and consumer trends to guide strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate category performance and recommend optimization strategies.
Expertise in Product Marketing & Innovation:
- Create innovative product concepts and positioning that drive brand growth.
- Manage product-level P&Ls to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
- Oversee the complete product development lifecycle, partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Lead the briefing and assessment of formulas, fragrances, and packaging designs.
- Ensure timely development and approval of mechanical artwork.
- Proactively identify challenges, escalate issues, and devise solutions to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Develop strategic product toolkits for stakeholders to facilitate successful launches.
- Assess product launch outcomes to identify future opportunities.
- Organize and evaluate proprietary and competitive product submissions based on various criteria.
Consumer Insights & Market Trends:
- Cultivate a consumer-centric approach by leveraging research to understand diverse demographics and identify new product opportunities.
- Conduct industry and category trend analysis to uncover relevant opportunities.
- Execute consumer research (both quantitative and qualitative) to inform product development decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand development or product management, preferably in the beauty or consumer packaged goods sector.
- Proactive and positive attitude with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong prioritization skills while maintaining high-quality standards to achieve results.
