Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director, Business Development and Capture to join our team at Concept Plus. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in growing our business and developing deep client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for the DLA account in collaboration with the DOD/National Security General Manager.
  • Support the capture of new and organic growth opportunities in DLA, as well as recompetes.
  • Develop key client relationships across DLA and create formal networks with key decision makers.
  • Develop a proficient understanding of CP's service offerings.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company through capture and proposal writing.
  • Lead and control meetings, bringing groups of diverse personalities to consensus.
  • Manage the opportunity lifecycle from end to end.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Capture Expectations:
  • Identify, pursue, and capture opportunities based on annual targets.
  • Drive and lead capture efforts across the DLA account.
  • Assist in leading strategic business development activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive growth plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of professional work experience, including 5+ years of capture experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer 3+ years of DLA capture experience.
  • Demonstrate a successful history of winning new work, including capturing large, complex, multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Experience with capture and leading a proposal response.
  • Proficiency with proposal writing.
  • Multiple senior-level relationships across the DLA account, including industry and government.
  • Proven analytical abilities and ability to draw insight from findings.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple business units.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Leadership and management abilities to oversee and ensure CP processes are followed.
