Job Title: BD Director/Capture Manager

Concept Plus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BD Director/Capture Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in growing our business and developing deep client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategy: Collaborate with our DOD/National Security General Manager to develop and execute a growth strategy for the US Army Account.
  • Capture New and Organic Growth Opportunities: Support the capture of new and organic growth opportunities in the US Army Account, as well as recompetes.
  • Develop Key Client Relationships: Develop key client relationships across the US Army Account, create formal networks with key decision makers, and serve as an external spokesperson for the organization.
  • Develop Proficient Understanding of CP's Service Offerings: Develop a proficient understanding of CP's service offerings.
  • Contribute to Company Growth: Contribute to the growth of the company through capture and proposal writing.
  • Lead and Control Meetings: Lead and control meetings and bring groups of diverse personalities to consensus.
  • Work within Sales Cycles: Demonstrate the ability to work within sales cycles and generate business opportunities, manage the opportunity lifecycle from end to end.
  • Collaborate with Functional Areas: Work collaboratively with other functional areas such as recruiting and contract to complete capture tasks.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Capture Expectations: Identify, pursue, and capture opportunities based on annual targets.
  • Drive and Lead Capture Efforts: Drive and lead capture efforts across the US Army Account.
  • Assist in Strategic Business Development: Assist in leading strategic business development activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop Comprehensive Growth Plans: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive growth plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of professional work experience, including 5+ years of capture experience. Prefer 3+ years of US Army capture experience.
  • Successful History of Winning New Work: Demonstrate a successful history of winning new work, including capturing large, complex, multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Proposal and Capture Experience: Experience with capture and leading a proposal response.
  • Proposal Writing: Proficiency with proposal writing.
  • Senior-Level Relationships: Prefer a candidate with multiple senior-level relationships across the US Army Account, including industry and government.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proven analytical abilities, ability to draw insight from findings and understand customer's business issues.
  • Communication Skills: Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership and Management Abilities: Leadership and management abilities to oversee and ensure CP processes are followed, passion to help drive success of team members and clients, able to see the big picture and plan details for long-term success.
  • Reliability and Detail-Oriented: Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on commitments.
  • Process and Planning Skills: Strong process and planning skills, goal-oriented, task-driven, and enjoys being part of a high-performing team.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience presenting results of work efforts to client or company management strongly preferred.
  • Account Growth and Penetration: Demonstrated track record of growing existing accounts and penetrating new accounts.
