Salary Range: $165,000.00 to $185,000.00 Annually

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Construction Financial Manager to supervise all financial operations related to construction projects. This position entails precise and prompt financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and treasury management. The Construction Financial Manager will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer to implement and uphold procedures and controls while spearheading essential company initiatives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting operations by formulating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Generate monthly financial reports that summarize and project company business activities and financial status.
  • Formulate budgets and forecasts to assess cash flow, identify trends, and monitor variances to minimize risks and improve financial results.
  • Ensure the financial integrity of the general ledger, financial accounting, and reporting systems.
  • Maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
  • Advise on distributions based on available cash and anticipated cash needs.
  • Lead financial statement reviews and assist with tax return preparations, including creating necessary support schedules.
  • Establish and maintain accounting records for new entities and update organizational charts.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide members of the accounting team.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required. A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience is essential, including at least five (5) years in the construction sector and a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity overseeing construction accounting teams. CPA and/or CCIFP certification is preferred. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required. Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE, Procore, and/or Textura is advantageous.

Salary:

$165,000 to $185,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
