Your Role

As a member of the UC organization, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of various services, including Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Applications. You will also support customers with specialized security requirements for their cloud services.

We are looking for exceptional researchers with expertise in one or more of the following domains: autonomous agents, large multimodal models (particularly vision-language models), reinforcement learning (RL), and sequential decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
  • 3+ years of experience in building machine learning models for business applications
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar
  • Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with modeling tools like R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, TensorFlow, numpy, scipy, etc.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.
