Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various projects aimed at monitoring and ensuring quality control for critical initiatives, including:
    • MIPS Training and Performance Monitoring across all states
    • OSHA Compliance, including office plan development and annual meetings
    • Monitoring provider medical licenses
    • Overseeing location business license renewals
    • Supporting the Clinical Operations Director with performance reports
    • Entry-level medical coding based on experience, ensuring accuracy in medical claims
    • Managing medical record requests related to payer risk adjustments
    • Reconciliation of duplicate charts
  • Conduct research on changes in regulatory requirements and policies relevant to our operations.
  • Efficiently handle incoming communications, paperwork, and emails, ensuring proper filing upon completion.
  • Manage and assist with special projects, collaborating with team members as necessary.
  • Prepare analytical reports by gathering and evaluating information.
  • Address inquiries or concerns promptly, documenting unresolved issues and escalating as needed.
  • Implement and adhere to policies and procedures related to billing, medical coding, and compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in compliance or quality control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Medical Coding Certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required for clinic visits and training.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to medical facilities. Exposure to clinical environments may occur, including potential contact with communicable diseases and biohazards. Daily activities may involve standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
