Position Summary
Langan is seeking an Environmental Compliance and Permitting Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in guiding and supporting a variety of environmental compliance and permitting initiatives. Responsibilities include technical report writing, regulatory report preparation, permit application development, and conducting on-site inspections.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage permits and compliance programs across various environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, and waste management.
2. Assist with air quality projects, focusing on emissions calculations, permit preparation, compliance with NESHAP/NSPS, and annual reporting.
3. Conduct multi-media environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, and program reviews.
4. Create and implement monitoring and spill prevention plans, including SPCC and SWPPP.
5. Prepare comprehensive technical documents such as reports, plans, and permit applications.
6. Provide field support at client locations, including routine inspections and sample collection.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, preferably within a consulting context.
