Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavior-based safety observations and train staff and management to uphold safety and operational integrity.
  • Lead regular safety audits, risk assessments, equipment inspections, and meetings to evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of safe work practices and effective safety methods; conduct quarterly safety drills to enhance safety awareness.
  • Drive injury prevention initiatives that target unsafe behaviors and promote safety as a core value among all personnel.
  • Perform accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
  • Participate in daily briefings and weekly safety meetings.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and operational integrity to all employees.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations at all government levels and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular training sessions with team members.
  • Ensure adherence to the Safety Work Permits (SWP) Program for vendor-controlled systems, ensuring safe operations and proper notifications.
  • Empower the right to halt work if safety protocols are not observed.
