The Safety Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing scheduled preventive maintenance and addressing reactive maintenance repairs effectively.

Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- A high school diploma, GED, or higher education degree is mandatory.
- Experience with hazardous materials is essential.
- Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication abilities are required.
- Attention to detail, time management, documentation, and reporting skills are critical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Experience in an industrial or semiconductor setting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavior-based safety observations and train staff and management to uphold safety and operational integrity.
- Lead regular safety audits, risk assessments, equipment inspections, and meetings to evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Facilitate the implementation of safe work practices and effective safety methods; conduct quarterly safety drills to enhance safety awareness.
- Drive injury prevention initiatives that target unsafe behaviors and promote safety as a core value among all personnel.
- Perform accident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Participate in daily briefings and weekly safety meetings.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to safety and operational integrity to all employees.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations at all government levels and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular training sessions with team members.
- Ensure adherence to the Safety Work Permits (SWP) Program for vendor-controlled systems, ensuring safe operations and proper notifications.
- Empower the right to halt work if safety protocols are not observed.
