Overview
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be accountable for executing customer transactions, both internal and external, with precision and professionalism.
Your role will involve fostering customer relationships that allow for the effective communication of product knowledge and services, ultimately leading to successful product delivery or referrals.
Demonstrating proficiency in computer systems is essential for processing banking transactions efficiently.
You will also be responsible for adhering to operational protocols to ensure the smooth completion of banking activities.
Compliance with regulatory standards is critical, and you will be expected to complete training successfully, covering topics such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Participation in sales initiatives assigned by management is required, with a focus on cross-selling additional products and services to enhance customer relationships.
Maintaining a professional image for the bank is paramount, and you will assist colleagues as needed while undertaking other tasks as directed by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not include supervisory duties.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred. Previous experience in cash handling and customer service is advantageous.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety guidelines and procedural manuals. Proficiency in writing routine reports and effective communication before groups is essential.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Capability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret numerical data is necessary.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in various formats and to address problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid driver's license may be required for travel related to this position; bilingual skills are a plus.
