Position Overview

Kansas Action for Children is in search of an Agricultural Sales Specialist to become a vital member of our innovative team, dedicated to enhancing plant nutrition solutions within the agricultural sector.

Role Responsibilities

This position will involve providing integrated technical assistance within a Sales Team across the Corn Belt region. The key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Technical Training: Offer comprehensive product education and articulate the agronomic benefits of our offerings to clients, agricultural consultants, and internal teams.
  • Field Research Management: Oversee a regional portfolio of agricultural research initiatives aimed at assessing both current products and emerging technologies.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with sales and agronomy personnel, farmers, researchers, and independent advisors, focusing on strategic partnerships to foster business growth.
  • Industry Representation: Act as a liaison for the organization, establishing a reputation as a thought leader and influencer in the agricultural community.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in presenting technical sales concepts to varied audiences.
  • Skills in designing and executing research trials, along with data analysis and summarization.
  • A proven track record in nurturing and managing customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of soil fertility management and nutrient efficiency products.
  • Familiarity with the common crops and agricultural practices in the Corn Belt region.
  • A Master’s degree in Agronomy or a closely related field.
