Position Overview:

As a Business Systems Analyst within the Incident Management team, you will be instrumental in enhancing Incident Management and associated functions across an expanding portfolio. Your role will be critical in ensuring our systems deliver exceptional customer experiences while upholding robust financial controls. You will collaborate closely with engineering, legal, compliance, and customer success teams to facilitate business recovery following disruptions. This position is vital for scaling operations and achieving ambitious growth targets through innovative problem-solving and strategic data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Incident Management processes, working alongside engineering teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee Problem Management processes, ensuring seamless transitions from incident resolution to problem-solving to avert future occurrences.
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL and Tableau to derive insights that enhance operational efficiency and inform decision-making.
  • Monitor systems with tools like Splunk and Wavefront for early detection and resolution of potential challenges.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and customer success, to ensure effective business recovery post-disruptions.
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements in customer service and operational practices within the organization.
  • Participate in periodic weekend shifts to support continuous operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the banking or FinTech sectors.
  • Expertise in Incident Management, with a solid grasp of engineering processes.
  • Experience in Problem Management, understanding the relationship between Incident and Problem Management.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk and Wavefront.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with business, legal, compliance, and customer success teams.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Maximo.
  • Background in program/project management.
  • Willingness to support weekend shifts occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background or comprehension of engineering processes.
  • Experience in the FinTech industry, especially in customer service and operational excellence.
  • Understanding of financial technology platforms and small business banking.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, IT, or Engineering.
