Position Overview:
As a Business Systems Analyst within the Incident Management team, you will be instrumental in supporting incident resolution and related functions across an expanding portfolio. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our systems deliver exceptional customer experiences while upholding robust financial controls. You will collaborate closely with engineering, legal, compliance, and customer success teams to facilitate business recovery following disruptions. This position is vital for scaling operations and achieving ambitious growth targets through innovative problem-solving and strategic data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Incident Management processes, working with engineering teams to ensure prompt issue resolution.
- Oversee Problem Management processes, ensuring seamless transitions from incident resolution to proactive problem-solving to avert future occurrences.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL and Tableau to generate insights that enhance operational efficiency and inform decision-making.
- Monitor systems with tools like Splunk and Wavefront for early identification and resolution of potential issues.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and customer success, to ensure effective business recovery post-incident.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements in customer service and operational practices within the organization.
- Participate in periodic weekend shifts to support continuous operations.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in the banking or financial technology sectors.
- Expertise in Incident Management, with a solid grasp of engineering processes.
- Experience in Problem Management, with an understanding of the relationship between Incident and Problem Management.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk and Wavefront.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in business, legal, compliance, and customer success.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow or Maximo.
- Background in program or project management.
- Willingness to support weekend shifts periodically.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical background or understanding of engineering processes.
- Experience in the financial technology sector, particularly in customer service and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with financial technology platforms and small business banking.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Information Technology, or Engineering.
