Job Description

Russell Tobin's client, a multinational business software company, is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst III to work remotely.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with experience in designing and conducting incrementality measurement to understand impact, generate actionable insights, and drive optimization recommendations for cross-channel marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Conduct Incrementality Measurement: Develop and implement incrementality measurement strategies to understand the impact of marketing campaigns and drive optimization recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define key business questions, identify data solutions, and drive business decisions at different phases of the campaign.
  • Perform Deep-Dive Business Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis, experimentation design, and marketing attribution to drive business decisions.
  • Create Dashboards and Scorecards: Develop dashboards and scorecards to track campaign performance, facilitate discussion, and accelerate decision-making.
  • Compile Reports and Present to Senior Leadership: Compile reports and present to senior leadership by building data narratives around areas of growth and opportunities.
  • Guide Less Experienced Business Data Analysts: May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts.

Required Skills:

  • Prior Experience with Paid Marketing Channels: Prior experience with paid marketing channels, analyzing paid media campaign performances, and media optimization.
  • Advanced Statistical Analysis: Experienced in advanced statistical analysis, experimentation design, and marketing attribution, and AI/ML models.
  • Incremental Marketing Measurement Techniques: Has a foundational understanding of incremental marketing measurement techniques like MMM and geo experimentation.
  • Data Pipelines and ETLs: Practical experience constructing data pipelines and ETLs with SQL and Python.
  • Large Complex Datasets: Strong capability to manipulate and analyze large complex datasets to mine insights.
  • Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have flexibility to shift priorities when needed.
  • Data Storytelling: Strong data storytelling skills, with a proven ability to rapidly construct impactful visualization, communicate insights, and influence marketing leadership.
  • Non-Technical Stakeholders: Strong capability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders to define requirements and drive X-functional projects.
  • Web Analytics and Brand Marketing: Prior experience with web analytics and/or brand marketing and/or brand measurement a plus.
  • SQL and Python: Proficient SQL skill required, proficient Python skill a plus.

Requirements:

  • Quantitative Field or Equivalent Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience, advanced degree preferred.
  • Remote Work: This is a 100% REMOTE job, but the Manager's preference is the West Coast of the United States.
