POSITION SUMMARY:

Oversee the performance of the Building Management System (BMS) and ensure its continuous operation across all sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise the performance of the Building Management System. Conduct monitoring of system data points, analyze trends, troubleshoot programming issues, and implement necessary changes to the DDC/BMS systems as directed by a BMS Technician. Conduct annual or as-needed backups of system and program databases. Perform routine maintenance on workstation computers and Websup servers. Manage and update JACE licenses and system platforms. Modify and enhance BMS graphics. Commission HVAC field controllers and JACE systems. Adjust operational sequences, add data points, map back data points, and create sequences of operation and retrofits/upgrade field controllers as required.
  • Assist with Energy Conservation initiatives by developing and managing data points for utility meters and the Energy Dashboard. Monitor system data points, history, trends, troubleshoot programming, and implement changes to the DDC/BMS systems as required by an Energy Conservation Technician.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure all control systems are operational, promoting guest and team member comfort while maximizing energy efficiency. Troubleshoot communication failures and system performance issues. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC DDC/BMS hardware components to ensure optimal functionality. Support BMS Technicians and Energy Conservation Technicians as needed. Responsible for building and maintaining station databases and their interfaces.
  • Recommend program modifications and upgrades to optimize system performance and enhance energy conservation across all sites. Communicate system changes to HVAC/Refrigeration and relevant departments.
  • Provide electronic maintenance support to the Maintenance and Ride & Show Departments as necessary.
  • Actively engage in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to established policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
SCOPE OF WORK:

Monitor the performance of the Building Management System (BMS) and maintain the DDC/BMS system across all sites. Analyze trend and history logs to ensure proper operation of the DDC/BMS system. Implement updates as necessary. Collaborate with contracted service providers for extensive modifications. Work with BMS technicians to identify and resolve system issues. Make necessary adjustments to control systems and upgrades. Provide electronic maintenance support to the Maintenance and Ride & Show Departments as required. Communicate any changes to HVAC technicians.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory;
  • Technical school education is preferred;
  • Associate's degree is an advantage;
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 3 years of experience in electronic systems, programming, and control technology is essential.
  • Proficiency with computers and servers is required.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
  • A valid Florida Driver's License is necessary for operating company vehicles.
  • Universal Refrigerant Certificate (Mandatory), Niagara AX Technical Certification (Mandatory),
  • Johnson Control Metasys (Mandatory),
  • Honeywell or any other Direct Digital Control (DDC) System (Preferred).
