Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced optical systems for our camera modules, ensuring exceptional image quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products.
  • Work closely with lens suppliers to evaluate prototype designs and conduct MTF testing.
  • Drive the development of advanced metrology methods to improve lens characterization and integration.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Optical Science, Optical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in lens design, metrology, and integration, as well as tolerance and stray light analysis.
  • Proficiency in optical software packages, such as ZEMAX, CODE V, or FRED.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive optical and image quality characterization of lenses and camera modules.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
