Key Responsibilities:

The Client Relationship Specialist I will:

  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and resolving issues to achieve maximum satisfaction.
  • Inform clients about and recommend new banking products tailored to their needs.
  • Provide clients with information regarding their accounts, including balances, statuses, and transaction histories.
  • Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines while performing duties.
  • Safeguard clients' confidential information, ensuring it is used solely for official purposes.
  • Enhance the banking experience for clients by addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct engaging presentations to promote appropriate account recommendations and encourage business transactions.
  • Introduce clients to the Tell-A-Friend program, enthusiastically distributing coupons during transactions.
  • Assist clients in understanding both in-person and digital banking options, helping them choose the channels that best suit their preferences.
  • Promote the use of customer convenience channels offered by First Community Bank, utilizing these services to better advocate for clients.
  • Open new accounts and manage existing ones according to operational procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and stored appropriately.
  • Minimize deposit exceptions and address any issues promptly to prevent account closure risks.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to five years of experience in banking.
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to understand and respond to others effectively.
  • Patience and a willingness to assist others in problem-solving while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in banking platforms and common office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the capacity to influence others.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to sit in front of a computer for prolonged durations.
