Position Summary

We are currently looking for a full-time Geospatial Intelligence Specialist (Entry-Level). This role involves performing geospatial analysis of various entities, networks, and individuals utilizing advanced geospatial tools, methodologies, and spatial-temporal data, along with imagery and insights from both social and physical sciences. The specialist will leverage imagery, vector data, and other data types, including non-geospatially correlated information, to identify, locate, and map objects within the spatial domain. The analysis will encompass, but is not limited to, terrain mapping, route optimization, and maritime geospatial activities.

Location and Deployment

This position is based in a designated location and requires approximately four months of deployment to overseas locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts non-literal analysis to generate intelligence products using remote sensing techniques on data sourced from various airborne and space-based imaging systems.
  • Implements tailored algorithms, tools, and methodologies for the exploitation of geospatial imagery, emphasizing innovative approaches and capabilities for operational missions.
  • Collaborates with Imagery Scientists to develop novel analytical methodologies applicable to complex remote sensing challenges.
  • Employs analytical tools and techniques such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), data visualization, modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development.
  • Supports geospatial collection experiments and utilizes effectiveness measures to evaluate remote sensing system capabilities, understanding the functionalities of geospatial systems and sensors in relation to intelligence missions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Geospatial Analysis or a related field.
  • Proficient in creating 3D models and visualizations of structures, terrain, or equipment using various forms of imagery, including National Technical Means (NTM), commercial, airborne, and software such as Google Sketch-Up or RealSite.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, database management, graphic design principles, ArcGIS, QT Modeler, Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, RemoteView, or SocetGXP.
  • Knowledgeable in digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, GIS, geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
  • Capable of annotating map graphics to display geospatial data in accordance with specified formats, including essential reference information such as scale, geolocation indicators, legend, title, classification, and projection details.
  • Adept at processing and analyzing geospatial data to address intelligence challenges.
  • Skilled in processing geospatial data layers to extract information from relevant sources, including ArcGIS, Excel, or Pathfinder, and formatting it for integration into a geospatial database or viewer, such as ArcGIS or FalconView.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation

The typical compensation range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000, based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
