Position Overview
Timmons Group is currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer II or III to contribute to our Public Land Development Group.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing project components utilizing relevant software, modeling, and Civil 3D technology.
  • Conducting calculations using engineering principles and leveraging computer tools to address challenges.
  • Preparing specifications and materials by researching and utilizing manufacturing catalogs to ensure accurate project documentation.
  • Completing design details and plan sets to meet project requirements.
  • Performing research and drafting objective summary reports essential for project execution or inspection.
  • Assisting in the formulation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Carrying out field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering personnel.
  • Engaging with client representatives and collaborating with the internal design team as needed.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Two to ten years of experience in Land Development civil engineering, including residential and commercial project design.
  • Preferred EIT certification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
