Job Summary

We are seeking a Phlebotomist Specialist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or Client office. As a Phlebotomist Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and being the face of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical tests
  • Enter patient information into our system accurately and efficiently
  • Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
  • Travel to additional sites when required

Requirements

  • Valid Washington state Phlebotomy License or application filed with the Washington Department of Health
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
