Job Summary:
Patient Care Technician – Pre-Surgical Center

We invite you to become a part of our team as a Patient Care Technician at our Main Campus.

We seek a proactive healthcare professional ready to demonstrate compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and contribute significantly in our Pre-Surgical Center.


Position Responsibilities:
- Operate under the guidance of a Clinical Nurse, assisting patients promptly and efficiently.
- Approach situations with a high degree of integrity and empathy.
- Responsible for monitoring vital signs, conducting EKGs, and collecting specimens.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, providing support during procedures as necessary.
- Utilize basic computer skills and data entry capabilities.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related role such as NA, PCT, EMT, Med Tech, Phlebotomist, or LPN.
- If less than 2 years of experience, a Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past year along with one year of relevant experience is required.
- BLS certification must be obtained by the time of hire.

Compensation Range:
$22.11-$30.62/hr

Additional Information:

Location:
MSK's Main Campus

Schedule: 8-hour shifts flexed between 10am-8pm with Saturday and vacation rotation
