Job Summary:

  • As a Patient Care Associate at G.A.S. Global, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff by performing various clerical and health-related tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and document patient vital signs, measurements, and medical history.
  • Collect and process patient specimens, and administer basic medical tests and emergency first aid procedures.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist medical providers during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
  • Coordinate appointments and communicate healthcare services to patients and families, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the inventory management of medical equipment and supplies, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

Education and Certifications:

  • AHA BLS certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is necessary.
  • Completion of a Phlebotomy training program and electrocardiograph training is preferred.
  • Phlebotomist Certificate is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • All clinical staff must have active Medical Malpractice Insurance.
  • Valid licensure for clinical workers is required.
